ELIZABETHTOWN – Senior Caleb Hatchell and sophmore Jake Evans scored 2 goals each to lead East Bladen to a 9-0 lead over Harrells Christian Academy Tuesday night in non-conference men’s soccer action.
Freshman Garrett Melvin, juniors B. J. Monroe, Dan Tatum, and Keshaun Davis and sophmore Gabe Barber scored one goal each.
Senior Brooks McGill dished out 3 assists, and Gabe Barber and junior Greyson Heustess were credited with 2 assists each. Evans and Garrett Melvin added one assist each.
Junior Pierce Melvin and Heustess led the Eagle defense with 8 steals each. Evans and Gabe Barber followed with 7 steals each. McGill and junior Ezequiel Arteaga finished with 6 steals each.
Junior Spencer Scott and Tatum split time in goal for the Eagles and recorded one save each.
The Eagles improved to 14-1 with the victory and will host East Columbus Wednesday at 6 p.m.
