EAST ARCADIA – Eleven different players scored Tuesday as Elizabethtown rolled to a 52-15 Bladen Five Middle School Boys Basketball victory over East Arcadia

Lefrederick Wooten drained a 3-point shot and 2 more baskets in the first quarter as the Cougars raced to a 15-2 lead. Guard Jaquez McKoy popped in a pair of baskets, and Javant McDowell and Zach Meares dropped in baskets, and Drew Sholar sank a pair of baskets.

Roderick Grainger threw in the first two East Arcadia baskets – one in the first period and the other in the second quarter.

Meares nailed a second period 3-point basket. Malcolm Bolden tossed in a basket and 2 free throws, and Raymond Autry pumped in a basket as the Cougar lead grew to 26-5 at halftime.

Bolden pumped in a basket in the third quarter, and Nysaan Wooten hit a free throw for the Cougars, but East Arcadia rallied with a 10-3 surge to trim the lead to 29-15.

Kari Price connected for 2 baskets and a free throw for the Panthers, Emanuel  Lewis added a basket, and Grainger netted a free throw.

McDowell worked the paint for a trio of baskets as the Cougars racked up 23 points in the final period. Teammate Brady Hollingsworth buried a 3-point shot and another basket. Raymond Autry fired in 2 baskets, and JaQuez McKoy, Ra’Sean McKoy, Meares and Darius Autry scored one basket each.

The Cougars improved to 2-0 with the victory.
