ELIZABETHTOWN – Damian Sanchez fired in 2 goals Monday to lead Elizabethtown to a 3-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference AA Division boys’ soccer victory over West Columbus.
Ishaq Algozy drilled in the other Elizabethtown goal. Jadarius McArthur and Javonta Smith were credited with assists for the Cougars. Fox Sutton posted the shutout in goal for Elizabethtown.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Cougars improved to 5-2 in AA Division and 6-2 overall. West Columbus dropped to 3-4 in the AA Division and 4-4 overall. Elizabethtown will visit East Columbus Tuesday.
