WHITEVILLE – Whiteville Central rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to edge Clarkton School of Discovery 2-1 Thursday in Waccamaw Conference Middle School Conference season-opening action.
Nyquan Richardson knocked in the Blue Devil goal off of an assist from Lafon Monroe in the seventh minute of play.
The Hornets tied the score eleven minutes later. Central scored the game-winning goal with ten minutes left in the game.
