TAR HEEL — East Columbus grabbed an early 13-0 lead and defeated Tar Heel 39-9 in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ basketball action Wednesday.
Abigail Dew buried a pair of 3-point shots and led the Lady Panthers with 6 points. Teammate Savannah Wooten tossed in a 4th quarter basket, and Serenity Council added a free throw.
K. Worley fired in 13 points for the Lady Hawks, and A. Godwin followed with 9 points. K. Hall finished with 8 points.
Tar Heel will host Nakina Tuesday.
