CLARKTON – Nakina defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 35-14 Tuesday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ basketball action.
T. Strickland led the Nakina scoring with 17 points, and teammate B. Price followed with 14 points.
Cabria Baldwin drained a pair of 3-point shots and topped the Lady Blue Devil scoring with 8 points. Teammate Brenna Hester tossed in a pair of 4th quarter baskets.
The Lady Blue Devils, now 1-1, will travel to Bladenboro Thursday.
