BLADENBORO – Marly Crabtree pitched a 1-hitter and struck out 4 batters as Bladenboro rolled to a 20-2 Waccamaw Middle School Conference softball victory over Tabor City Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs scored 10 runs in the 1st inning and added 10 more in the 2nd inning. Kallie Bass walloped a bases-loaded home run and scored twice to lead the Lady Bulldog hitters. Holland Davis blasted a 3-run triple and scored a run.

Crabtree yanked a double to left field and scored a run. Kali Allen smashed a double to center field, walked twice and scored 3 runs. Leea Wilkins walked twice and scored 3 runs. Natalie Sykes walked and scored twice, and Makenna Thurman walked and scored 2 runs.

Giovanna Spaulding belted a single and scored a run. Marlie Walters walked twice and scored a run. Karlee Gause walked and scored a run, and Gracie Todd walked and scored a run. Pateyn Pope and Haleigh Seabolt scored one run each.

Coach Otis Evans’ Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-1 on the season.
