WHITEVILLE – Williams Township defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 16-0 Monday in the their Waccamaw Middle School Conference softball opener.
Catcher Cabria Baldwin slammed a double for the only Lady Blue Devil hit, and leftfielder Nevaeh Brown drew a walk to account for the only other CSD baserunner.
Clarkton will travel to Tabor City Monday.
