BLADENBORO – Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs opened their volleyball season Monday and edged Clarkton School of Discovery 2-1 in their Waccamaw Middle School Conference opener.

In other matches Monday, Nakina defeated the Lady Blue Devils 2-0. The Lady Bulldogs dropped their final match of the night 2-0 to Tabor City. Nakina defeated Tabor City 2-0.
Coach Jessica Rhodes Lady Bulldogs, now 1-1, will travel to Williams Township Thursday to play Williams and Nakina. Clarkton will visit Tabor City Thursday to play Tabor City and East Columbus.
