New Light Church is excited to welcome everyone to come out and enjoy a Family Christmas Celebration tonight, beginning at 6:30 pm. It is an event for the whole family, and the whole community – all are welcome to attend and enjoy.
Event planners shared with BladenOnline, “The grounds of the Anchor Kids campus will turn into a wonderland of lights, a nativity scene, and scores of winter blow-ups with a hot chocolate, coffee, and cookie bar.” There will be carols led by the Wilmington Celebration Choir, and Santa and Mrs. Claus of course! Children’s Pastor Donna Hester stated, “The Grinch will also be there for pictures, but we do have security to keep Mr. Grinch in line!”
Last year, New Light hosted a similar event with hundreds in attendance, but this year’s event will be bigger and better. You can drive through, sit in your car and watch and listen via radio, or get out and stroll the grounds and enjoy the old-fashioned Christmas Celebration.
Extra parking will be offered at New Light’s main campus, with golf cart shuttling services provided for your convenience. Event planners say, “The weather is going to be perfect, so bring the family and come on out!”
