The Bladen County Parks and Recreation Department has begun its youth basketball season. There are four leagues — 10-12-year-old boys, 10-12-year-old girls, 7-9-year-old boys and 7-9-year-old girls.
Games are played at King Street gym in Elizabethtown on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.
Pictured are games played Monday, January 22 which had the Aces defeat the Sparks 11-7 in the 10-12-year-old girls league, the Tarheels beat the Ducks 24-11 in the 7-9-year-old boys league, and the Blue Devils top the Tarheels 4-0 in the 7-9-year-old girls league.
