RyleeChadwickKISSIMMEE, FL – Bladenboro’s Rylee Chadwick is playing in the USA Elite Select Futures All-American Softball Games this week at the Disney ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Chadwick is a member of the Great Lakes National team that is competing in the 10-Under Fast-Pitch Softball Division. She was one of 12 Direct Select players chosen from each region in each age group.

Tuesday Chadwick’s Great Lakes National team was edged 2-1 by Far West American, but rebounded to beat Northwest American 7-3 Tuesday night.

On Wednesday Midwest American defeated Great Lakes National 3-2, but Great Lakes National bounced back to beat Central American 6-5.

“Rylee is playing well,” said Matt Chadwick – Rylee’s Dad. “She pitched 6 or 7 innings and has given up only one hit. At the plate she has 3 hits in 4 games and has walked several times.”

With their 2-2 record in pool play, Great Lakes National has advanced to the bracket round and will play Atlantic National (4-0) at 1:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
