West Bladen grad Sayaun Dent posted a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds for Sandhills Community College last Saturday in a 133-103 victory over the Lees-McRae junior varsity team.
Dent collected 6 assists and 3 steals in 20 minutes of playing time in the win over Lees-McRae. Saturday the Elizabethtown native tossed in 6 points in a 100-80 win over Johnston Community College.
The 6-3 freshman has averaged 9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 19 minutes of playing time as the Flyers have posted a perfect 4-0 Region X record and 14-5 overall mark. Sandhills will host Central Carolina Community Wednesday night at 7:00.
