NASHVILLE–The Cleveland Browns built a 38-7 first half lead then held off a late rally from the Tennessee Titans to claim a 41-35 National Football League victory Sunday.
Former East Bladen and North Carolina State star Larrell Murchison was on the Titans Inactive List for the third straight week.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 29-of-45 passes for 389 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Titans. Teammate Corey Davis caught 11 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown.
An 8-yard touchdown pass from Tannehill to Cameron Batson pulled Tennessee to within 41-35 with 28 seconds left, but the ensuing onside kick failed.
The Titans, now 8-4, will travel to Jacksonville for a 1 p.m. game Sunday.
