TABOR CITY – South Columbus won the decisive 5th set 15-8 Tuesday night to pull out a marathon 3-2 non-conference volleyball victory over East Bladen.

The Lady Stallions won the opening set 25-20, but the Lady Eagles rallied to even the match with a 25-23 win in the 2nd set. South took the 3rd set 25-23, but East Bladen fought back to pull out a 25-22 win in the 4th set and even the match 2-2.

“It was a phenomenal volleyball game,” said East Bladen Coach Jordan Raynor. The Lady Eagles, now 3-4 overall, will travel to Fairmont Thursday for a Southeastern Athletic Conference match.

South Columbus won the junior varsity match 2-0.
