TABOR CITY – South Columbus defeated West Bladen 3-0 Wednesday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-20.
Senior Raegan Davis filled up the stat sheet for West Bladen with 8 assists, 7 aces, 5 service points, 4 kills, 4 solo blocks and 3 digs. Junior Lexie Corrothers slammed in 4 kills, 2 service points, an ace and had 2 digs.
Sophmore Sidnee Walters knocked in 3 kills, 4 service points and had 2 digs for West. Junior Mikayla Meadows pounded in a team-high 6 kills, an ace, a solo block and had 2 digs. Junior Jordan Benson dished out 5 assists and contributed 3 service points and a dig.
Senior Caroline Davis sparked the Lady Knight defense with 23 digs. Sophmore Shelby Pharr tallied 3 service points, a kill and 2 digs. Indra Rodriquez had 2 digs. Alana King drilled in an ace, and senior Callie Lewis smacked in a kill.
“My team played well,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis.
West Bladen will host West Columbus Thursday at 4:30.
