TEACHEY – Wallace-Rose Hill defeated West Bladen 3-0 Monday night in Four County Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-11, 25-22 and 25-17.
Sophmore Raegan Davis led the Lady Knights with 3 service points, 2 aces, 3 block assists, 2 solo blocks and a kill. Senior Kathryn Schultz racked up 2 aces, 2 block assists, a kill and a solo block.
Senior Kassidy Anderson knocked in 2 kills, an ace and 3 service points for West. Junior Patience Parker slammed in 3 kills and 2 aces, and senior Logan Autry belted in 2 kills, an ace and a service point.
Senior Jenna Dove drilled in 2 aces and a kill for the Lady Knights. Senior Morgan Schumacher pounded in 2 kills, a solo block and a block assist. Senior Kaylee Stevens hammered in 2 kills.
“The varsity girls have had a great season,” said West Bladen Coach Gaye Davis. “I will definitely miss the 7 seniors.”
West Bladen finishes regular season play with a 6-7 league record and a 10-9 overall mark. The Lady Knights now await Tuesday’s announcement of the NCHSAA play-off seedings to see where they will play.
