DUBLIN – West Bladen swept West Columbus 3-0 Thursday night to claim their third straight victory by set scores of 25-18, 25-15 and 25-13 in non-conference volleyball action.

Senior Morgan Schumacher pounded in 11 kills, 2 blocks, an ace and 2 service points to lead the Lady Knight attack. Fellow senior Logan Autry contributed 12 assists, 4 kills, 2 aces and a service point.

Sophmore Raegan Davis filled up the stat sheet with 6 assists, 5 aces, 2 service points and 4 kills for West Bladen. Senior teammate Kathryn Schultz hammered in 8 kills, 2 blocks, an ace and a service point.

Senior Jenna Dove drilled in 5 aces and a kill for the Lady Knights. Seniors Kassidy Anderson and Laikyn Pait knocked in 3 kills each.

Junior Patience Parker fired in 3 aces and had one assist for the winners, and senior Kaylee Stevens collected 2 assists.

Coach Gaye Davis’ Lady Knights, now 3-0, will travel to Whiteville Tuesday for a 4:30 match.

The West Bladen jayvees won their match 2-0 by set scores of 25-15 and 25-17. Junior Elizabeth Allbright slammed in 13 kills, 2 aces and 4 service points for the winners.

Freshman Jordan Benson dished out 8 assists and had an ace and a service point. Teammate Alise Pait knocked in 2 kills and 4 service points for the Lady Knights.

Freshman Lexie Corrothers and Mikayla Winebarger drilled in 3 kills and 2 aces each for West Bladen. Teammate Callie Lewis delivered 2 kills, an ace and 2 service points, and Alana King and Cheyenne Lewis added one kill each.

The Lady Knight jayvees are 2-1 on the season.
