The Three Rivers Conference will move their start times for jayvee and varsity basketball up an hour to allow time for the varsity teams to have time to get home before the governor’s 10 p.m. curfew.

TRC President, Russell Dove, announced via email that the first jayvee games of the night would start at 3 p.m. with the varsity girls slated to begin at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity boys. The basketball season will begin for Three Rivers teams on Tuesday.

“Our traveling schools must be allowed the time to load the buses after an away game, time to travel back to the school and then for our athletes and coaches to arrive home,” said Dove. “Game times are subject to change with the curfew being lifted.” The current curfew is slated to run through January, 8th.
