PEMBROKE – Junior striker Keni Gomez scored both goals Wednesday night as West Bladen blanked Purnell Swett 2-0 in nonconference boys soccer action.
Gomez fired in a goal in each half. Senior Brandon Labra assisted on one goal, and freshman striker Jordan Underwood was credited with an assist on the other goal.
Senior Nick Gibson recorded the shutout in goal for West Bladen.
Coach Phillip Turnage’s Knights evened their record at 1-1 and will host Hobbton on Tuesday.
