ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen’s Eagles had the “best turnout” for the opening day of football practice Monday that “we have had in awhile,” according to Coach Robby Priest.

About 35 varsity players and 25 jayvee players were present. “We had some good ones show up that we weren’t expecting,” said Priest (pictured). “We need some more of the younger ones – the freshmen – to come, but they are the ones who have trouble getting a ride to practice.”

The Eagles will practice again Tuesday at 5 p.m.
