LORIS, SC – Whiteville held off South Columbus Monday by 8 strokes (382-390) in the Waccamaw Conference golf match at Diamondback Golf Club. East Columbus placed 3rd with a 427 total.
East Bladen finished 4th with a 437 score ahead of West Columbus (441) and Heide Trask (482).
Whiteville’s Marc Rich claimed medalist honors with an 89. South’s Noah Green was 4 strokes back with a 93, and Whiteville’s Price Wheatley and Colby Hooks tied for 3rd with matching 94’s.
Zac Metz led the East Bladen golfers with a 104 followed by Connor Smith’s 106. Henry Simmons carded a 113, and Peyton Tatum was right behind him with a 114.
