DUBLIN – West Columbus edged West Bladen 5-4 Saturday in non-conference jayvee baseball action.
“The Knights were battling those Vikings through out the whole game,” said West Bladen Coach Todd Pait.
Sophmores Dalton Pait and Jeremy Pait both batted 2-3 to lead the Knight hitters. Freshman Nolan Bryant and sophmore David Valenta belted one hit each.
“Brandon Strange pitched 5 strong innings then Derrick Long came in to close out the game,” said Coach Pait.
The Knights are now 6-5 and will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Tuesday at 4 p.m.
