ELIZABETHTOWN – Ronkira Lennon fired in 10 points to lead East Bladen to a 21-19 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over South Columbus on Friday.
The Lady Eagles raced to leads of 10-2, 13-3 and 15-8 before withstanding a South rally in the final period. Lavada Jackson and Briana Phillips scored 4 points each for East Bladen.
Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles improved to 1-1 in the TRC and 2-1 overall and will travel to Red Springs on Tuesday.
