BLADENBORO – Midway defeated West Bladen 2-0 Thursday in Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-11 and 25-10.
Freshman Kali Allen racked up 4 service points to lead the Lady Knight attack. Sophomore Marlene Crabtree slammed in 3 kills, and Tah’lea Bethea fired in 3 aces.
Emme Bryant tallied 2 service points for West. Freshman Brenna Hester drilled in an ace, and freshman Jaylen Clark belted in a kill.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights, now 4-2 in SAC-7 play and 7-6 overall, will visit Union Monday.
