DUNN – West Bladen senior Kiera Lewis has been named to the All-Southeastern Athletic Conference girls’ basketball team. Lewis led the Lady Knights averaging 8.6 points and 6 rebounds per game.

Lewis fired in a season-high 23 points in a win over West Columbus and just missed a double-double with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals in a narrow 38-36 loss at Clinton.

Other highlights included: 14 points in a 58-44 loss to East Bladen; 12 points at South Brunswick; 6 points and a season-high 11 rebounds in a 41-39 loss to Midway; 9 points and 7 rebounds in a 40-27 win over South Columbus; and 8 points, 7 rebounds and a season-high 6 steals in her final game at Clinton.

SAC Co-Players of the Year were Fairmont’s Taniya Simms and St. Pauls’ Jashantae Harris. Co-Coaches of the Year were Fairmont’s Marcus Thompson and St. Pauls’ Cedric Thompson.
