LUMBERTON – East Bladen and Lumberton battled to a 1-1 tie Thursday night in non-conference men’s soccer action. The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Pirates tied it with a second-half goal.

The Eagle and Pirate jayvee teams battled to a 2-2 tie in the preliminary match.

Junior Jay McGill fired in the Eagle goal off of an assist from senior Greyson Heustess. 
 
“Jacob Priest did an outstanding job for us in goal,” said Eagle Coach Jay Raynor. 

East Bladen, now 5-0-2 overall, will travel to South Columbus Monday for a conference match.
