ELIZABETHTOWN – Nakina defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 17-2 Wednesday in a Waccamaw Middle School Conference softball game at Bladen County Park.
Kynzlee Wood knocked in both of the Clarkton runs with a 3rd inning single. Wood started in the pitching circle for the Lady Blue Devils and struck out 3 batters in her 2.1 innings of work. Zoie Durden finished up in the circle for CSD with 0.2 innings of relief.
The Lady Blue Devils, now 1-1 on the season, will host Elizabethtown Monday.
