WHITEVILLE – Williams Township defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 14-10 Thursday to win the Waccamaw Middle School Conference’s AA Division softball championship.
The two teams were tied for first place before Thursday’s game. Williams Township finished with an 8-2 league record, while Clarkton finished league play with a 7-3 record and a 9-3 overall mark.
The Lady Blue Devils will play in the Bladen County Softball Tournament after the Easter Break.
