The engines will be roaring again Saturday night as Dublin Motor Speedway opens its 2016 racing season.
Weather permitting, of course. Rain is forecast Saturday, but is expected to clear out by evening.
Races are scheduled in Late Model, Crate Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Super Street, Pure Stock and U-Cars for Saturday’s opener. Pits open at 4 p.m., grandstands at 5 p.m. and practice is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
The purse will pay $1,000 to win in Late Model and Open Wheel Modified, $525 in Super Street, $300 in Pure Stock and $250 in U-Cars.
Grandstand admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens and military, $8 for ages 13 to 18, and free for ages 12 and under. Admission prices for the pits is $25 for adults, $10 for ages 6 to 12, and free for ages 5 and under.
