DUNN – Midway defeated West Bladen 3-0 Tuesday night by set scores of 25-9, 25-14 and 25-13 in Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball action.
Senior Kiera Lewis patrolled the net with 16 attacks, 5 blocks, 4 kills and a service point for West. Senior Trinity Meares banged in 13 attacks, 3 service points, 3 kills and had a dig. Senior Maddie Walters contributed 13 attacks, 2 kills, 2 blocks and a service point.
Lady Knight freshman Greer Pope handed out 6 assists and had 1 service point. Senior Jenna McLean drilled in 4 service points including an ace, 7 attacks and had 3 digs. Sophomore Emme Bryant collected 4 digs and 2 service points.
Junior Marlene Crabtree smacked in 4 attacks, a service point and had 2 digs for West. Junior Marlie Walters fired in a service point. Junior Holland Davis walloped in 3 attacks and a kill, and junior Alina Chavez had 3 attacks.
West Bladen, now 1-1 in the SAC-6 and 6-8 overall, will host St. Pauls Thursday night.
