The rain and lightning in the area forced some postponements to Bladen County sports on Thursday.
West Bladen’s jayvee football game at East Columbus was postponed and will be played Monday at 6 p.m. at East Columbus.
East Bladen’s home tennis match versus Whiteville was postponed until Wednesday, Sept. 27.
East Bladen’s jayvee soccer game at Scotland was cancelled.
