Elizabethtown native Larrell Murchison recorded 2 tackles as his Los Angeles Rams improved to 8-7 with a win over New Orleans. The next week the Rams secured a playoff spot with a win over the New York Giants.
West Bladen’s boys basketball claimed 3 exciting wins to win the championship of their own Bladen Offroad Christimas Tournament. Center Chase Williams was named the winner of the Sayaun Dent MVP award. The Knights had claimed a rivalry win at East Bladen earlier in December.
