WILMINGTON – Macy Morrison and Kira Soodek scored 8 points each to lead Wilmington Hoggard to a 39-10 non-conference jayvee girls basketball victory over West Bladen Tuesday.
Freshman Hannah Pait and Ocean Woody threw in first quarter baskets as the Lady Knights grabbed an early 4-2 lead. Hoggard rallied with a 10-4 second-quarter run to take a 12-8 halftime lead. The Lady Vikings rode a 27-2 second half surge to the victory.
Woody led the Lady Knight scoring with 5 points.
