BLADENBORO – Diego Santos-Hernandez knocked in a pair of 2nd half goals Monday to lead Bladenboro to a 2-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over previously unbeaten Nakina.

Santos-Hernandez cracked the scoreless tie in the 7th minute of the 2nd half. Twelve minutes later Santos-Hernandez banged in an insurance goal. Sincere McKinley and Brooks Carroll teamed up to record the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs solidified their hold on 2nd place in the Waccamaw’s A Division. Bladenboro is 4-2 in division play and 4-3 overall. Nakina drops to 6-1 in both A Division play and overall.

Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs will travel to Williams Township Tuesday.
