The naming of the basketball court at East Bladen in honor of Lady Eagle Coach Patty Evers headlined the sports news for November.

East Bladen Basketball Will Now Play on Patty Evers Court

East Bladen’s request to be reclassified to Class 1A beginning with the 2023-24 season was approved by the NCHSAA.

Football season ended and basketball season began with all Bladen varsity teams getting early wins. All-Conference and All-District awards were named for the fall sports with East Bladen’s Dr. Ray Cross and Malcolm Bolden receiving state awards.
