Spring sports dominated the March coverage. The highlight came at the end of the month when East Bladen and West Bladen battled in baseball, softball and girls soccer.
Both West Bladen and East Bladen got off to hot starts on the baseball diamonds.

Articles on the Los Angeles Rams’ Larrell Murchison and East Bladen Coach Patty Evers receiving the Wooden Legacy award were also featured.
West Bladen and East Bladen also had success on the softball diamond.
East Bladen’s girls’ soccer team rolled to an early 6-3-1 record, and West Bladen claimed a pair of wins over East Columbus behind Lainey Autry’s “Hat Tricks’.
Both West Bladen and East Bladen track teams got off to good starts.

Bladenboro’s Corben Chadwick pitched an early-season no-hitter. The Lady Bulldog softball team edged Williams in a big game, and Emereau Bladen’s baseball and softball teams claimed victories.

Freddy Wooten continued to turn in big performances for Southeastern Community’s baseball team.
