West Bladen’s Demon’tre Love finished 2nd in 3 straight Southeastern Athletic Conference cross country meets to give him 4 2nd place finishes for the season.
West Bladen won a pair of girls’ tennis matches against St. Pauls.
East Bladen won 3 girls’ tennis matches in September.
Former East Bladen star Maya McDonald lit up the scoreboard with 5 goals in a win for her Cape Fear Community College team.
All 8 Bladen middle school soccer teams in the Waccamaw Conference earned victories in September and 5 of them were in contention for conference championships.
